Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.
A replenishment of the northeast
monsoon reached the coast of Guangdong yesterday afternoon. Locally, it was
cloudy yesterday and there was coastal
fog in the afternoon. Visibility at Waglan Island once fell below 1000 metres. The weather began to become
cold at night with temperatures over parts of the territory falling to around 12 degrees. The
monsoon will persist over southern China today and is expected to be replaced by a relatively
humid and
mild maritime airstream early next week.
Weather forecast for Hong Kong
Mainly
cloudy. Some
mist with one or two light
rain patches at first.
Cold in the morning with a minimum temperature of around 12 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees lower over the New Territories. The maximum temperature will be about 16 degrees during the day.
Moderate north to northeasterly winds, occasionally
fresh offshore.
Outlook : Temperatures rising progressively with relatively
humid weather early next week.
