Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A dry northeast monsoon brought generally fine weather to southern China today. Locally, the weather was mainly fine and dry during the day with the relative humidity over most parts of the territory falling below 50 per cent. As the northeast monsoon is expected to moderate in the next couple of days, temperatures over Guangdong will rise gradually.

Besides, Tropical Storm Fung-wong intensified into a severe tropical storm this morning. At 11 p.m., Fung-wong was centered about 440 kilometres east-southeast of Gaoxiong. It is forecast to move north or north-northwest at about 12 kilometres per hour across the seas east of Taiwan.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Friday, 22 Nov 2019)

Fine. The minimum temperature in the morning will be about 19 degrees in the urban areas, and a few degrees lower in the New Territories. Dry during the day with a maximum temperature of around 26 degrees. Moderate northeasterly winds.

Outlook : Mainly fine with temperatures rising gradually over the weekend. Temperature difference between day and night will be relatively large over inland areas.
