Combating Climate Change Campaign - World Environment Day 2010
cum Global Warming and Climate Variation Seminar Series
 

 
     In the rapid development of economic and industrial activities in the past century, mankind has exploited resources on Earth on a massive scale, damaging biodiversity and ecosystems. Echoing the global theme of World Environment Day 2010 'Many Species•One Planet•One Future', the Environmental Campaign Committee (ECC) collaborates with the Polar Museum Foundation (PMF), the Environmental Protection Department, the Hong Kong Observatory and the Hong Kong Science Museum, to hold the World Environment Day 2010 cum Global Warming and Climate Variation Seminar Series on 5 June 2010. Honourable guest speakers are invited to share their insights into climate change and low-carbon living, so as to raise public awareness towards environmental protection and to appeal to the community to live a low-carbon life.
