This bilingual booklet contains the traditional Chinese Calendar and times of daily sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset, high and low tides, arranged month by month. The times of meridian passage, rising and setting of the planets are graphically illustrated in this handy almanac. The star maps of the four quarters of the year 2008, duration of twilight, details of equinoxes, solstices, eclipses, information on calendar, observation of meteor streams and planetary phenomena as well as climatological information of Hong Kong and selected cities for each month of the year are also given in this publication.

These tide tables
list the predicted heights and times of daily high and low waters at
ten locations in Hong Kong, namely, Chi Ma Wan, Ko Lau Wan, Lok On Pai,
Quarry Bay, Tai O, Tai Po Kau, Tsim Bei Tsui ,Waglan Island, Kwai Chung
and Shek Pik. Phases of the moon are also given.
This bilingual publication is a useful reference to engineers, shipping
companies, wharf and container terminal operators, yachtsmen, fishing
and water sports enthusiasts.
