In December, two of the most popular Internet search engines in Hong Kong, Google and Yahoo!, separately named the Hong Kong Observatory website as the most searched government websites in 2008.  The Yahoo! BUZZ Award 2008 was presented to the Hong Kong Observatory as recognition. 
The HKO website is a very convenient means for the public to obtain the latest weather forecast and warning.  The above encouraging results confirm its significance.  The Observatory will continue to enrich its website delivering more useful weather information to the public.
