'Deputy Head of Efficiency Unit' speaking on "What is Customer Management in HKSAR Government?"
Mrs Patricia Lau, the Deputy Head of Efficiency Unit of the HKSAR Government, shared her experience and insight in customer management with our colleagues in the monthly management forum in May 2009.
Mrs Patricia Lau is responsible for leading the customer management initiative in the public sector and developing citizen-centric services programmes aimed at improving citizens' experiences when interacting with government.
The Observatory strives to provide quality services to users including the public, shipping and aviation sectors. To meet this goal, we have carried out with the support of the Efficiency Unit an assessment of the current practice of customer management in the Observatory. This assessment provides the basis for the Observatory to further improve in this aspect. Mrs Laus presentation provided much food for thought for our colleagues to pursue customer management excellence in the future.
