The Observatory invited Professor Cheng Kai Ming to deliver a talk in the management forum in May 2009. Professor Cheng is a renowned education expert with in-depth knowledge as well as ample management experience.
Education and management are closely related to our family, society and work. Professor Cheng did not merely share with us his insight and experience in education in his speech "What is education for tomorrow like? ", he examined the changes in our society through critical analysis, and made a projection in its future development. He highlighted the educational challenges in the post-industrial era brought about by structural change in education worldwide. His lecture was enlightening, informative and absorbing. It provided much food for thought on the future development of services provided by the Observatory.
