Mrs Lam Kwong Si-lin, Hilda Promoted to Assistant Director
Mrs Lam Kwong Si-lin, Hilda was promoted to Assistant Director on 13 October to succeed Dr Wong Ming-chung who has proceeded on pre-retirement leave.
Before her promotion, Mrs Lam was the senior scientific officer in charge of corporate communication and tropical cyclone studies. Prior to that, she looked after weather forecasting and warning operations for an extended period of time. After the promotion, Mrs Lam heads the Development, Research and Administration Branch in the Observatory.
