The Consuls and consulate staff of the Australian, British, Canadian and U.S. Consulate-General in Hong Kong visited the Observatory on 17 September 2009. The Director, Dr Lee Boon-ying, briefed them on the work of the Observatory and presented them a tour of the Forecasting Office, the Radiation Monitoring and Assessment Centre, the Television Studio, the Geophysics and Time Services Division, and the History Room. The visitors showed great interest in the various aspects of the work of the Observatory.
