Hong Kong Observatory received Customer Relationship Excellence Award
The Hong Kong Observatory was recognized for its customer-centric service and was awarded 2008 customer relationship excellence under the category "Public Service of the Year (Government)" by the Asia Pacific Customer Service Consortium in 26 June 2009.  Dr B Y Lee, Director of the Hong Kong Observatory, said, " 'Care about the community and colleagues' is one of the Observatory's core values.  We strongly believe that good customer relationship is achieved through compassionately understanding the needs of the end users.  We are fortunate to have a team of committed colleagues who are sensitive to the changing societal environment and are eager to make a difference."
