  • Partnering with Water Supplies Department in Climate Change Talk

To enhance students' awareness on climate change and understanding of adaptation measures, the Observatory and the Water Supplies Department (WSD) jointly delivered a climate change talk for about 200 students and teachers at the Shau Kei Wan East Government Secondary School on 25 October 2018.

Mr SHAM Fu-cheung from the Observatory presented the scientific basis and impacts of climate change, while Mr KWOK Ue-mo from WSD talked about the impacts on water resources under climate change, strategy of water resource management and promotion of water conservation.
